Honoring Our Legacy
The Milford Striped Bass Club has been built by generations of dedicated anglers, volunteers, leaders, and friends. Throughout our history, many members have contributed their time, knowledge, and passion to help make MSBC the organization it is today.
This page is dedicated to honoring members whose contributions left a lasting impact on our club, our traditions, and our community. While they may no longer be with us, their legacy continues through the friendships they built, the traditions they helped preserve, and the memories they created along the way.
Each year, the Milford Striped Bass Club proudly remembers these individuals through memorial tournaments held in their honor.

William "Bill" Blotney
Bill Blotney was a dedicated member, leader, and advocate for the Milford Striped Bass Club. A past president of MSBC and former board member, Bill devoted countless hours to supporting the club and its members.
Bill was passionate about fishing, hunting, boating, and the outdoors. He was a strong supporter of the Milford Children's Trout Derby and played a critical role in helping secure funding that allowed the event to continue during challenging times. His efforts helped preserve a tradition that continues to introduce generations of children to the sport of fishing.
Beyond his leadership, Bill was an active participant in club tournaments, events, and activities. He was always willing to share his knowledge, mentor fellow members, and contribute wherever help was needed. His dedication, friendship, and commitment to the club left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
